Anyone ever used Cazoo to buy a car? 17:29 - Jun 20 with 2612 views | Cheltenham_Blue | Interested to know if they are generally sh it or just a one off experience. Went to pick up a car from them today, left without the car as after servicing it, they can’t turn the service light off. They’re maintaining it has to go to a main dealer to have it done, but there are about 100 tutorials on YouTube showing you how to do it. [Post edited 20 Jun 2023 17:29]

I'd assume they're fairly safe to buy from but would question the value, though have no experience and little idea of prices.

I’d be very wary. I have read more negative comments than positive about Cazoo, Cinch et al. There are some really fed up customers.
Anyone ever used Cazoo to buy a car? on 20:55 - Jun 20 with 2223 views | CBBlue | Took my car into our usual garage recently as the service light came on despite it being serviced a couple of months previous. Fine, they said we'll just reset it for you. Nope it kept coming back on immediately after they reset it and running it through the machine turns out I needed a new thermostat. Maybe something similar with your car? Could be why they can't turn it off.

I was wanting to replace my car 18 months ago. Did look at Cazoo, but only very briefly as everything they had was at the vastly expensive end.

Anyone ever used Cazoo to buy a car? on 21:29 - Jun 20 with 2111 views | farkenhell | We had a different experience of Cazoo to Guthers, when Mrs F replaced her car last year. Having decided on the make and model, we found Cazoo to be cheaper than other dealers. However, we were put off by the fact that we couldn't test drive before deciding whether to buy or not (we could watch a detailed video of the car, but if we wanted it, we had to buy it, although with a brief money back guarantee if we changed our mind later). Just wasn't for us. | | | | Login to get fewer ads
Anyone ever used Cazoo to buy a car? on 13:13 - Jun 21 with 1776 views | Deano69 | Never quite understood how someone would be comfortable such a significant purchase based on a few photos and some video. I have bought new cars without a test drive normally as it is simply replacing the previous version, but a used car would be something I would rather much prefer to try before I buy. But I suspect that's a generation thing and that I actually don't mind the car buying process to be honest. Cazoo get quite a lot of CCJ's but sure on the funding available that's not a big issue for them financially, but not sure about from a reputation point of view. Also noticed they seem to have moved out of the old Audi garage on Wherstead Road there?

They were there for about 2 months, all rather bizarre.
