I would say this is an area we’re not short in. I remember after we thrashed Pompey 4-0 a radio Suffolk caller said it was a time for new heroes.
Now we have Walton, Morsy, Leif, Burns, Clarke, Woolfie, Luongo has been here since Jan but is adored now, Broadhead

I honestly don't feel all the connected to GL.. He didn't play many games, and didn't do many interviews that I can remember.

Genuinely gutted to see him go, but also delighted for him to get the move he clearly wanted. I've known Greg since 2009 when I moved into my current house, opposite where his mum and dad live, and have followed his career with interest as he's moved around.
You can imagine the excitement when he signed here last season, and I was so looking forward to him playing games for us. Obviously, he ended up behind Davis in the pecking order, and along with his injury, its meant he hasn't played as much as he'd like.
Whenever I spoke to him when he was home though, he was always buzzing with how good the group was, how interesting and good the training was, and what a good club it was to be part of, however, he really wanted to be playing games.
Hopefully this move works out for him, and he gets the game time I think we all know he needs.
As said, he didn't play that much for us, but I think you all got a feel of what a good guy he is.

Conor Chaplin is the team spirit ubermeister of Portman Road.
I'm still allowed to be sad about Greg Leigh going, though. A 5 foot 7 or so defender who only lost one header, that I can remember, threw himself into blocks, and always looked like he loved playing for us.
