Suspect it'll be this, with Evans and Taylor in the midfield. Other alternative is Humphreys at left back and Williams at right back, freeing up Ball to play CM or CB depending on any other fitness/transfer considerations.

I think that Williams is going to be sharing RB with Clarke in the short term, so I'd rather see Williams at RB (Clarke rested) and Humphreys at LB. Allows Ball and Taylor in CM.

Interesting. Whether you go your way or mine, it seems to be a question of leaving out either Evans or Humphreys. Given Evans skippered the side last cup game (I think), perhaps it's your line up, although I suppose Humphreys could take the Aluko role.

I guess it depends on who's getting loaned out or sold?

This was how I thought they may approach things but suppose if WIlliams is the LB cover he may need minutes there also
