Good idea in principle but as mentioned, would be flagged by elf n safety.
I wonder how possible it would be to stick something in Alderman Park across the road but that would require co-operation from local residents, the council and the police having to worry about another couple of thousand people milling about. |  |

Well although my idea has already been discredited in terms of the fanzone attendance, surely you limit the number going in according to how many fanzone dcreen tickets sold..
Using completely made up figures
Fanzone capacity 3000
Screen ticket sold 1000
Match ticket holders max 2000
And assuming there might be some walk ups , let them in from 2.45 as the area empties on 1 in 1 out? | | | |

The other thing that would be a problem would be the price charged to fans in the fanzine to watch the game when 30 yards away other Town fans are paying premium prices to watch the same game.
