I hadn't realised until I just looked on imdb that he was also the voice of the Black Rabbit in Watership Down. I suppose I should have recognised the voice really, for Frith's sake.
I must admit I thought he had long gone...of all his roles the one that sticks in my mind is his South African baddie in one of the Lethal Weapon films...a time when the Soviets had to be replaced as the "Bond Villians" and the apartheid Saffers stepped into the role in many films and series.. was that the lethal weapon with the nice George Harrison song,I think it was also the one when the lovely Patsy Kensit got them out
