It's never worked like that, if it was going in then should be Leif's
Looking at the replay angle from behind the left side of the goal, looked like Leif's shot may have been going wide; if so, at least it brings him closer to 20 assists for the season

It certainly didn't look like it was going wide to me, however if Al Hamadi hadn't got a touch the defender sliding in may have got to it!

Leif's shot for Al-Hamadi's goal was definitely on target; was talking about the OG for the 3rd goal (thought the rule was if the shot is on target, the goal is credited to the attacking player...otherwise Woolfie would have scored an OG too yesterday...)

It was 100% on target but actually nicks the first defenders boot and then it is close before the other defender touches it in. Leifs goal. Double deflection like Morsy's goal but much more of a goal even then his.

I don't get what people are seeing here. The Al Hamidi goal would have been cleared off the line by the defender. The Davis goal was clearly going into the bottom corner, maybe in off the post. Anyway, no one is going to challenge it, so it will go down as a Davis goal as it should do.

If that happend surely Leif would get credited with the assist and will have set a new record for assists in the division, with 10 games to go?
Leif will get the assist for the Ali goal, if it’s touched by your own player on the way to goal it’s the last player to touch it - if it’s an opposition player last touches it but it’s going in any way still goes Down as the attacking players goal. One thing though is the Davies shot looks very close to going wide from one angle or hitting the post, So if the defender didn’t touch it last it would have missed meaning it’s an own goal . I’m sure leif will get it though

That's what I was seeing with Leif's goal - from the angle I mentioned, looks like his shot is curling away from goal before the defender gets the final touch.

But as I said it nicks a defender before. It was on target for sure as it left his boot and came off two defenders. Two deflections doesn't matter as long as it was on target. His goal.
