Didnt we have that last season though as a top championship club? Accept it and move on and enjoy the journey or dont, your choice but id rather be where we are today than where norwich are, sun is shining, it's a beautiful day so enjoy the moment instead of looking for negatives

Constant gossip and info about managers/players being poached

Youngsters being snatched from our Academy

Games being moved on the whim of TV channels' late decisions to broadcast them (e.g suddenly lunchtime kick-offs over a hundred miles away)

Poor reffing decisions with no second opinion

Parachute payment teams dominating the transfer market

A constant struggle for funding

Good Lord! Whatever is it?

Agree. The journey was better than the destination.

Yeah, I said on an earlier thread, we'll miss the Championship. Of course we all want to be in the Pl but you don't get the entertainment like we've got accustomed to.

Ironic, isn't it. Elite level? Yes. Sh!te in virtually every other way? Deffo.

Never liked all the Sky TV teenage w@nkfest rubbish, falling over, VAR, buying players instead of bringing them through, bellends yelling "Shooootttt!", silly KO times etc, but it's still the top level and where we should be, but dammit I can't enjoy PL as much for so many reasons, mostly pertaining to being an old git who remembers the real Division 1.

Bah.

I don't imagine many people will be surprised at how the EPL is.

I'm overjoyed we went up - but a little voice in my head reminds me that last august I'd have taken a respectable mid table finish = I'd be looking forward to next season with far less hassle and potential misery.

We’ll probably have more Saturday 3pm games than we did this season!

Added to that we have to put up with D*ckheads that are ex footballers telling us how a player should have scored a goal or a goalkeeper should have saved a shot when they have absolutely no idea about those positions. You only have to look at players like Lampard and Rooney to see what great players they were, but useless as managers to show that you have to know a bit more than how to kick a football to be a manager and how to be able to comment on another players ability on the field when you specialist position wasn't where the player your talking about is.

"accustomed to"? It has only been the last 2 seasons.
