We've all had practice on how to deal with it when it does indeed happen

Think we've all done fairly well considering.

I think last night and today has been quite sobering.

I said the day after promotion that I was feeling a little down. I think it was the realisation that the exciting stage of our journey was over and we would never see two almost perfect back to back seasons again. Those really were the days.

Keiran did in two seasons what we had hoped would happen over 5. And what he achieved in that short time would be the prelude to him leaving.

Hey now, hey now, don't dream it's over

This sums up my thoughts perfectly.

It's been a fairy tale of a ride that will always be special.

Very well put GB - that only really dawned on me over the last week or two since it was all over, the looking forward to each game, expecting and knowing we would most likely win.

Whilst I am very excited about being in the PL, that feeling will never be the same again.
