How are lawyers editing/changing the contract on 19:25 - May 29 by boroughblue
I’m also curious on this, never heard of this before.
Not calling BS but does seem a bit strange
It’s not unusual at all, frequently work on MSAs that wording is changed daily, then the redlines have to all be cleaned up/versions aligned prior to issuing the contract (which has to be checked again) for signing, almost all of these are then signed electronically, usually via DocuSign.

Either an electronic signature (which can even be used on something which is required to be by deed these days), or his agent can sign it on his behalf.
I do find it odd that people are so exercised by it taking a few days to get a contract negotiated, drafted and signed. In many employment contexts it can take weeks, and most of us have experience of buying or selling property, in which context it can take numerous weeks.
All will be well.

Nothing weird about it, completely normal. The only reason we know this is even happening is the endless speculation. If it weren’t for that, we’d be blissfully unaware right now only to be treated to amazing news tomorrow or maybe Friday.
