Don't want to be overly critical 18:03 - Jun 20 with 1238 viewsbluelagos

But feels like football has moved on in the past few years, the influence of pressing (Klopp and Pep) even being seen in League 1.

But Southgate doesn't seem to have got the memo. No criticism of Kane, he's playing in a system which clearly isn't a pressing style.

That's my twopenneth

Define Southgate’s style of football. All I can up with Age UK Walking Football.

Yet we have one of the youngest squads in the tournament.

We haven’t even ‘won’ a corner yet!

Players in Sunday Pub Leagues may lack skill but they are enthusiastic, not sure how many of the England team are currently playing with enthusiasm.

Pickford just made a save, dashed to the edge of the box looking for a quick release. Meanwhile have the team were still dawdling along in no hurry to get out of the penalty area.

Agree.

Foden hasn't morphed into a poor player. Our system gets nothing out of him. Which is criminal as he's a superb footballer.

Do you think so? They just seem so, so slow playing out from the back and so far apart from each other. Town are so much better at it than this England team!
