Pre season is obviously under way, albeit early stages, and I'm surprised by the lack of signings across the EPL so far. Understand that the Euros obviously hold things back, but at what stage should I be nervous about it lack of activity?
We play an incredibly highly drilled brand of football - that'll take some time to knock into any potential signing.

Yes I looked the other day, barely a transfer in the Premiership yet. It's odd. There are other continents other than Europe with players. And other European nations not at the Euros. All those other players having a proper summer's rest & rehabilitation, that are not going to start next season a bit knackered from not having a break. |  | | |

didnt someone last week say the FFP accounting period is from July onwards, so it doesnt make sense to burden your previous years accounts with a bunch of multi million pounds of signings which you can dump in next years instead. | | | |

You shouldn't be nervous. Just look at Ashton's record since he came in. And yes it is still very early, how many deals usually get done by this stage (let alone when there's a tournament on)? |  |

Unless your accounts for the past 3-year cycle are in good order, in which case it would make sense to use some of that wiggle room now before the calendar ticks over. | | | |
