It's a huge step up. The promoted clubs have shown that. We have no chance of staying up with the team that got promoted.
But with a team full of players that are good enough for mid-table sides, under McKenna's management, then we will be looking at a lot better than staying up on the last day, even if we'd end up taking that all day long.
The promoted clubs last season also aimed to sign the sort of players to help them get back up if they went down, not particularly the players to keep them up. Very true.
But I cannot wait to see how the likes of Burns and Davis get on against the PL's finest. We have no idea how good we are as a squad. A couple of cup games but that's it.
