Stunning start to the summer business and you have to think it's makes the luring other new signings a very tiny bit easier also.

Where have I said the squad? Johnson was linked with Spurs, Palace, Everton, Wolves. Hutchison was similarly looked at by a number of top European clubs. I'm not suggesting Conor Chaplin and Cameron Burgess walk into the Wolves team. But Johnson and Hutchison I'd be happy to go out on a limb and say would be involved in any of the teams below the 'Big 6', Villa, Newcastle.

Absolutely no chance they woulda at this stage. Maybe in February. It's a huge step up. The promoted clubs have shown that. We have no chance of staying up with the team that got promoted. But with a team full of players that are good enough for mid-table sides, under McKenna's management, then we will be looking at a lot better than staying up on the last day, even if we'd end up taking that all day long. The promoted clubs last season also aimed to sign the sort of players to help them get back up if they went down, not particularly the players to keep them up. We look to be going about things very differently, even if we will have to add a Sheaf or Rodon or Philogene because we can't just sign £20m players.

He's an addition compared to this time yesterday when we didn't have him. He's also a player I didn't think we'd get back because the likes of Feyenoord and Dortmund were looking at him.

Hutchinson, has just been sold by a top 6 team. Keep it real. These players have a chance of avoiding relegation - at the very best.

Very true. But I cannot wait to see how the likes of Burns and Davis get on against the PL's finest. We have no idea how good we are as a squad. A couple of cup games but that's it. I reckon we will cause a few shocks this year.
