You would think so, but it can come down to things like how impressed he is with McKenna (if he's spoken to him) and how likely it is he'll play more minutes.
Also the timing might just be right and on our side with no concrete offers from the other two despite their interest.

Everton are walking a PSR tightrope, which is why they were keen to offload DCL, until the generate significant cash they are hamstrung.
Palace have got the money to compete, but then it comes down to the player, Palace without Olise and Eze (Should he go) are far inferior than last season and he will know McKenna well.
I'd expect us to be in the driving seat, add in the fact that talks are at an advanced stage, unless something dramatic happens, I would assume he will be ours very soon. |  |

Philogene is from London, so that's going to be a draw for him.
I think people need to take their blue-blinkers off a bit. We're certainly not a better prospect for him than Palace, who are much more established than we are, have an exciting manager and play good football. That's not to say we're not in with a shout of getting him, but you can't just dismiss establish premier league clubs because 'McKenna' | | | |
