To stop sending weapons are killing well over 40 thousand people mostly women children, it's embarrassing we all no what Hamas did was totally wrong but how many innocents do you have to kill to it becomes unacceptable.

They suspended something like what, 30 out of 350 arms export licenses? Militarily very small impact on Israel, unlikely to save a single life (not that that was the stated reason anyway). A big propaganda win handed to Hamas. For what? Nothing more than a virtue-signal to the wavering left of the party. Student politics in action.
If they were really serious about the risk of war crimes being committed with British equipment (which was the given explanation) they would go the whole way and cut Israel off. If they aren't serious, it's just a pointless gesture. |  |

Exactly we are trying to build pressure to get Israel to negotiate without making Hamas think they can take the pea.
USA are making noises about stopping arms and last chances, there was a general strike in Israel and we are doing our bit to try and get Netanyahu to agree to a ceasefire, unfortunately he won’t as it is not what the guys keeping him in power want. |  |
