Man Utd might well be looking for a new manager tomorrow. I don't think McKenna would be a serious contender, but surely now, it's out of the question. United will want someone with top level success under their belt. They don't have the time to let McKenna make mistakes while cutting his teeth in the PL and Europe.
Despite yesterday's heavy defeat, KM is still going to keep us up, I'm sure of that, and next season will see us establish ourselves in the top flight. COYB.

At the moment he looks as lost as some of the players tbh at this level.

He's close with it. As I said last week we were playing like a prem side with the set up.. but his weakness around the use of the forward players his hurting us..

Sort this out and we have a fighting chance.

But the current reluctance to change things isn't helping.

But despite looking lost and only having a fighting chance if we sort things out, we remain outside of the relegation zone after almost a quarter of the season

Wasn't sn issue against Villa was it?

Your post implies he has lost his way. There no evidence at all for this.

Yesterday was a bad day at the office, it happens. During all of KMs time here he has shown he learns and adapts.

There is nothing to suggest that has changed.

Were you saying this after the Villa game or the games against Fulham, Brighton or Southampton?

What’s his ‘weakness around the use of forward players’?

I did think KM should have made changes sooner yesterday, but your comments are ridiculous.

I'm not sure it was our forward players in particular who made us ship 4 goals. Yesterday was a sub-par performance pretty much all round, so I'm certainly not saying that defence is was our one issue, but I don't understand how it is a rational take on yesterday to say that the problem was the use of forward players (and still less that Kieran somehow has some fundamental difficulty in that regard).

No not at all. As I've said every week I've been expecting draws so it's not a massive shock we lost yesterday other than a shame how it was lost. And no I'm not saying KM has lost his way. Just that he seems caught between playing our usual way against what's needed to win prem games.

I've said each week we looked more of the promoted sides to look like a prem team in set up and that's still the case however the continued set up separately of our forward line is a bit strange.

It's OK to be critical about things especially when you've yet to win a prem game. And it's also possible to be critical whilst also acknowledging the positives at the same time.

Quite simply not using them correctly. It's really evident and quite amazing he's ignoring the short falls of it tbh.

Not sure why we bothered with szmodics if he's not going to play his best position
Same with hutchinson
And Jack clarke well he'd flourish when he's able to play his normal game but he can't as we aren't up the pitch long enough for him to do any damage.

Defence starts from the front.
Our press was weak
Our control of the ball up the top was terrible

If those aspects were better then it reduces the time the defence are dealing with issues.

Hmm, you vs KM in team set-up.

I’ll go with him.

No ones asking you to go with anyone else.

If he's current selection starts getting wins then fine. Until then it's absolutely fine to discuss why you think he hasn't got one yet.

Doesn't equate to KM out etc far. Miles from it. But if you're allowed to discuss players then you are allowed to discuss KM.

I repeat as people try to twist your thoughts. It isn't KM. It's in no way KM out. Its not even saying KM is a bad manager. Its just simply at the moment I feel he's not helping himself with certain sections. Which tends to happen on football forums

Think that’s widely unfair. Might not be working at his peak at this moment in time but they’ve only been together for 5 games as a unit.

It might not work out long term but Broadhead had a couple of months to get with the program before we saw results from him so I’m willing to give these boys some time.
