Not at all, Embrace were one of a number of very good bands to come out of the North West of England during the 1990s and 2000s, I even have this single (hoping it predicts how many we score without reply next Sunday.)

This one's Marmite - for those who don't know it, it's not great at first, skip to 4'.00 when the orchestra comes in. You don't have to be religious at all (I'm not). I find the simplicity & repetition of the tune mesmerising, entrancing, & the faith of the lyric moving. My stress just drops away listening to it. It has a wonderful back story too -
