Had a chat with someone I know at the game yesterday who said the goal should be to finish as the highest placed of the promoted sides, which I think is a very reasonable aspiration. Can't help but feel the best of the 3 will have a really good shot at survival this season, the worst of the 3 almost certainly will drop, and the middle? Who knows but I dare say could well drop as well. That would be my guess (albeit not how the league table looks right now) that 2 will go and 1 will survive. Makes it more annoying we didn't get the win against Leicester, but they're back in our sights now and I take confidence from the performance against them.

Before the season started I thought we'd finish in the bottom six, with the aim being to finish in the top half of that mini table.
I assumed the 3 promoted sides would form part of that group. 11 matches in and the table has taken shape.
We're in a battle with Soton, Wolves, Palace, Leicester and maybe Everton. I really can't see anyone else getting dragged into it. |  | | |

Vardy? A truly brilliant striker. Made the absolute most of his talents. Probably not suited to our style of play, but would have loved him here a few years back. You are the first person I have ever known have a slant at him. |  |

Top of the relegated sides is a good ambition but a fair chance that won't be enough - sadly I think it is already a mini-league of us three, Wolves and Palace, with the latter two having probably got a few more aces in the pack to pull away.
What I'm glad of is that we are just going it our way and remaining a brilliant team to watch and support. Relegation in this manner doesn't scare me massively. |  | | |

I'd add Everton to the bottom group and West Ham the longer they keep Lopetegui. There may also be a team that drops like a stone after Christmas but that would be perhaps unlikely. |  | | |

Agree with that last point completely. What will be will be, its a journey rather than a destination innit and tomorrow never comes. Great time to be supporting the Town, if we go down then so be it, we'll have a good crack at coming back I'm sure with the foundations that are being laid. If we stay up we'll have a good crack at kicking on and consolidating it. Whatever happens its enjoyable and we just need to enjoy the ride and stick together. | | | |

What a bunch of nasty horrid little Scotes the Leicester fans were after they mugged us for a draw. Jumping in our faces and laughing that we were getting relegated. So I'm very pleased they have been dragged back into the pack. Their fans have got the manager they deserved. Didn't think much about them before but hoping they get relegated now. |  | | |
