Amazing how just one road being closed can completely throw local life isn’t it. New Year landslip at old Blubberhouses trouble spot on the A59 here in Yorks adding hours of detour to journeys, particularly when side roads hadn’t been cleared of snow. | |

Looks like it is mostly cleared now, though the A12 is still closed southbound and the a12 north is still queuing back to Capel. Although thats not unusual.
There were plans to upgrade the Copdock Mill Interchange, supposedly starting in 2023 but that seems to have gone quiet now. | |
