Appears now he was dropped against Man City rather than rested for the Liverpool game.

He had played a lot since returning from injury tbf, not sure it's a drop. He'll start against Southampton you'd think.

McKenna picks the team he thinks has most chance of getting a result. I don't think players get 'dropped' (maybe Muric), just rotated.

Truly impaired.

I think he was fit for some weeks before he returned to the side. No, I don't think he'll start against Southampton now.

I think if he came back in today he would have said to have been rotated.

I think McKenna thinks Philogene and Hutchinson are better players despite current form and is going to select them now every time unless they are tired. Which is his prerogative of course, I was more highlighting a point rather than complaining.

I don't think that's the case, I suspect he's just currently being used as a finisher. I don't think there can be too many complaints at that seeing as we just payed £20M for Philogene and Broadhead also has a tendency to break down if overly used. No need for people to get their knickers in a twist about this.

Has probably picked up a knock and it's not two consecutive games.

Considering the last 6 months he’s had, I very much doubt he’s getting too down about not starting every week. He’s fit, involved and firmly in McKennas plans.

I think it's harsh and poss too soon for Philogene to start.
Like all mangers KM has players he prefers over others in the face of current form

Can only repeat what I said in another response, this was an observation, not a complaint.

Too early for this conjecture but.. I'm disappointed if KM sees Philogene in the left 10 role only. All that money spent on Clarke and Szmodics, which could have been redirected to other positions. Maybe he sees positional flexibility in the summer lads? Time will tell on all fronts!

Szmodics was a bargain. No way he won't be used when he's back.

Truly impaired.

Nonsense. Woolfenden dropped twice.
