Watching Villa pull Louie Barry away from promotion chasing Stockport to loan him out to relegation battling Hull, albeit, a league above, is such a poor move. He was flying at Stockport and they'll do well to replace the goals in their promotion bid, but he was playing for a team full of confidence and is not going into a team with a lack of confidence.
I'm pleased to see we haven't interfered with Cameron Humphreys and his loan at Wycombe in order to force the acceleration of his development in the league above. His next steps in the summer will be in the Championship - whether that is with us or out on loan again, but it's good to see we're not interfering like Villa did with Louie Barry.

I wouldn't say he's clearly too good for L1. He's put together two excellent spells at Stockport with a very strong first half of this season in L1.
Hull got a very good result away at Sheff Utd the other week and perhaps they're turning a corner under Selles who I agree, is a good coach, but it just seems a poor show to take him out of the Stockport loan where he was flying. Villa don't care about him, he's another player who will be on their books and sold at the first decent offer for PSR. | |

Made sense for both I think. He'll be 22 before too long and has yet to play Championship footy. This is a good chance for him. |  | | |

Would we listen to perm do you think Phil. Id be gutted. Id understand if we stay up and sold in the summer because it might be right for Cam. But if we drop down I'd love us to give him a chance. In fairness it will be a big ask for him given the squad we have and him probably being suited to a more advanced role. | |
