True, but not predictable at least champions wise,as Man City and Arsenal were strong faves and Liverpool with the manager change almost discounted from the race. [Post edited 23 Feb 19:27]

Relegation & league winner on 23:22 - Feb 23 with 1238 views | Mark | The Premier League are fortunate that Man City have fallen away this season, as the same team winning it every year and the promoted teams always getting relegated makes it rather boring. If people stop paying for the subscription TV channels they will be in trouble. | | | | Login to get fewer ads
Relegation & league winner on 07:24 - Feb 24 with 1043 views | SaffronWaldenBlues | You could argue it was pretty much nailed on a month ago anyway in both cases. Sky Sports news gleefully announced that Leicester, Ipswich and Southampton had accepted relegation during the transfer window because the three were not spending millions.

Those that run football should see that to allow a handful of clubs to dominate the league is a bad thing. Many were delighted to see Town pushing those in the Championship for a place in the Prem. Who would want to watch Scottish football where in the main two clubs have had a monopoly for as long as I can remember. But nothing happens to alter the situation. We are now staring at the three promoted clubs being relegated for two years running and in most seasons there's always one or two. My idea is that there's some sort of handicap where depending on your final position in one season you start minus so many points, the higher up you are the more points deducted and if you are the three promoted you start on level points. They have handicapping in racing so why not in football ?

You mention Scottish football - now that's really boring because there's only been 1 team in Scotland for the last decade. Rangers and St Johnstone have won 3 trophies each in that time and Celtic almost all the rest.
