Why would he not explore all his options, would be remiss of him not to.
If he then signed for us, why would he not be 100% committed?
Remember, last year, we were not his first choice, Brentford turned him down after a medical - was he less of a player for us as a result? |  |

I'm sure Jens will be 100% committed to playing football to the absolute best of his ability, wherever he ends up. He also will be 100% committed to getting the best deal for him and his family.

I can't say how much I hate this kind of comment.
It's as if some Town fans think players are not human beings having to weigh up all kinds of professional and personal issues, or that Ipswich Town is the place that all footballers want to be one day.
I doubt any of the people who post comments like this always wanted to work for their current employer, and would probably put in job applications to other positions elsewhere for personal, financial, geographic, professional reasons.
I would like Jens to return to us, and think he may, and know that if he did he would obviously put in 100% to his paid for job. But I am also grown up enough to understand he may not, and know why he may not. That's cool, he is allowed to have a choice. |  | | |

Paul Cook on Sam Morsy when we signed him said "he's someone we've had to be patient with and wait to bring in"
Imagine if we took your attitude and only signed players who wanted to play for us and no-one else. We'd definitely not have ended up with Morsy, that's for sure!
He's a professional athlete, if he comes here then he'll be 100% committed. Let's wait and see rather than only sign people who swoon at our first offer |  | | |
