| Who's enjoying Entitlement Day so far? on 11:14 - Feb 2 with 1181 views | bsw72 | Why be so divisive and antagonistic, people have very different perspectives which does not make them any less valuable. Personally I don't think what the club does today is as important as some others do, but I am not going to mock them for it, just state my opinion. [Post edited 2 Feb 11:14]

Yes - but doing it in a certain which I feel is divisive and antagonistic to generate yet another round of people winding each other up, which I am free to call out. I didn't say they could not air their opinion anywhere, as I may agree with certain aspects of it. What's your point?

My point is; Why are you allowed to call them out on 'being antagonistic' but apparently he's not allowed to do the same thing about some of the ridiculousness around Hirst and a signing a striker over the last week. The manner in which it happens is irrelevant, it's the same thing.

| Who's enjoying Entitlement Day so far? on 11:56 - Feb 2 with 950 views | FrimleyBlue | In what world is it entitlement to think that a side Who've spent over £70 million on wide players Knew they were losing their main striker 10 months ago But could only conjure up having Hirst and azon as the striker options for this season and not adding to that in this window. The failure took place in the summer. January was always gonna be difficult but thats the recruitment teams fault in putting us in this position. | |

| Who's enjoying Entitlement Day so far? on 12:04 - Feb 2 with 872 views | BouncebackIpswich | You can call it entitlement but there's a need to seize the moment and achieve when Ipswich have a stronger squad and more money than the rest of the league. I'm sure the owners won't be smiling and slapping McKenna and Ashton on the back if Town finish 4th and lose in the playoffs The posters who resort to this kind of pathetic name calling will be the first ones lamenting the missed opportunity and reminiscing about the glory days of McKenna and double promotions when Ipswich are back in lower mid table Champ in a few years having failed to kick on from a glorious opportunity and become established in the PL. | Who's enjoying Entitlement Day so far? on 12:09 - Feb 2 with 791 views | Illinoisblue | We have very rich and ambitious owners, finally, and yet many fans are still content with their “we’re little ol’ Ipswich, we don’t need a new striker.” mindset. | |

I will be very disappointed but overall we should just about have enough to get over the line. Why risk it though? There are strikers out there...

I’m not sure why this has particularly triggered you, but I called out the content of an individual’s post and provided direct feedback about that comment, wasn’t wider trolling or an attempt to wind up the wider board. The two are not the same. There’s a clear difference between individual criticism or direct feedback and behaviour deliberately designed to provoke a negative reaction across the wider group. I’ve offered direct and speciic criticisms on other posts before and will continue to do so. I actually agreed with the frustration that obviously sits behind the post, just not the way the post was designed to further antagonise. I also disagree with your last sentence, “The manner in which it happens is irrelevant, it’s the same thing.” The manner matters because intent, scope and effect differ: targeted feedback seeks to question or correct a single post and can open a constructive conversation (like this); wider trolling aims to provoke a reaction across the thread and derail discussion. Even where words used may overlap, the difference in manner changes how a message is received and the impact it has. Sorry if you have taken offence at a comment which was not aimed at you but I stick by what I posted.

I’m not offended or ‘triggered’ at all bsw. Hadn’t even given it a second thought since I replied to your question to me. You on the other hand thought it needed three paragraphs.
