Ipswich Vs Osasuna @ Colchester 15:54 - Jul 22 with 2572 viewsNumber22

Just booked some tickets for the game next Wednesday, surprised to see so few seats sold for what is presumably the first look at a number of our new signings...

Maybe it's not been well documented, but you have to purchase tickets off of their website.

Don't understand the appeal of friendlies and never will. New signings or not, I personally have absolutely no interest in going.

Probably the combination of it being a pre-season friendly (the methadone of the football addict), and being held at a ground 20mi away.

If it was being held at PR and people could walk to/from the match, it would probably be selling better.

Not a prophet, or a stone-age man; just a mortal with potential of a superman.

Will colchester still be charging their rip off parking charge for the game?

If so that will add cost to the expense of most people.

If I lived close(r) I'd probably go. £12. A ticket not too bad. However I don't.

The pre-season friendly against Aberdeen at Pittordrire last year was a cracker of a game, glad I went to that one.

I think the fact we have 2 home friendlies means people will be less bothered by a trip to Colchester this year.

I was born underwater, I dried out in the sun. I started humping volcanoes baby, when I was too young.

Park and ride always the best bet anyway.

Anywhere is good really, close to the action. I tend to go for the stand opposite the tunnel.

Yoi dont need to use the club parking. There is a new car-park in the neighbouring 'mall'. But yes, Colchester charged for parking last night, for aR low-key friendly.

I think it's 4 games in 8 days on that pitch. Remarkable thing, modern pitch technology, - the pitch was re-laid in May.

I hope some of the away fans (i guess there will be a few) make their way to Ipswich. Or at least to Colchester centre. I hope they were aware that the game is at a junction of an A road.

To me, 7 pm would be a more sensible kick-off time. I like a beer in a pub after a game.

Holidays, lack of pre season interest and being held away from Portman Road
