It's difficult though innit. If you have a family and are both working then who has time or energy to come home and cook?

In the spirit of reconciliation and happiness at the end of the Banter Era (RIP) and as a result of promotion I have cleared out my ignore list. Look forwards to reading your posts!

This article is about bad processed food though, less about the convenience of a ready meal lasagne for example, and more about a bowl of bright pink cereal.

No I know but I am not sure any food is "bad" per se.

Can't take this too seriously, as the article states, it is based on statistics which are 10 years old. A lot has changed in that period, thanks to people like Jamie Oliver and Hugh Whats-is-name. I think people are more aware of eating healthy food. I know I am, as far as I am able, I cook with fresh ingredients, avoiding processed food as much as possible. I try to avoid using anything containing added sugar, particularly high fructose corn syrup, which, to be blunt, is poison.

I don't really eat cereal (apart from muesli) but these caught my eye in Tesco a few weeks ago:

They still have 22g sugar per 100g. Regular Frosties have 37g. Amazing that people give that crap to their kids for breakfast.

Truly impaired.
