I really don't see How we could have aimed higher than the current league 1 manager of the season. He was clearly our 1st choice all along and this was clear when Marcus said end of May announcement.

I think he's probably well suited to ITFC, having taken one of the smaller clubs in League One to the play-offs without spending hugely. Optimistic, tho still slightly cautious and expecting he will need at least a couple of seasons to get a good idea of how things are going.
