1). Come up with a white paper which is your definitive final word on brexit.

2). Suffer multiple resignations due to that paper as well as criticism from all sides and foreign leaders due to the paper possibly being the worst of all scenarios.

3). Minor revolts and statements which you ignore and insist the white paper is the way forward.

4). Totally give in to 4 demands from the ERG in order to get the votes you need. However the white paper is now essentially totally different to the one which caused all the problems and unworkable with regards to customs agreements.

Unbelievable stuff really.

Over the week-end enough brexiteers made it plain they would be happy to vote against the White Paper meaning it would not make it through parliament.
The new difficulty for her now is that this White Paper has gone to the EU for consideration, if she has to change it new (then potentially again) any respect she got from the EU for pushing the original version through, will vanish.

There is no majority for any type of Brexit

We will either end up with no one happy which is basically a bad deal or there will be a 2nd referendum/general election to solve the mess Cameron has left this country in.

Really what evidence do you have to make such statements I would be interested to have a read...the interesting thing on Brexit is whilst the Tories are in a right muddle the leader of the opposition even during this period proves himself to be absolutely hopeless time after time. If only we had a credible opposition with some type of alternative plan Brexit would not look as bleak but Corbyn and his cronies are even more divided than this current Tory rabble....very sad.

Strangely, I agree with you. Corbyn is at best ineffective, more likely a "useful idiot", and almost equally guilty as May, given his lack of opposition. He treats Europe as a mere sideshow to his aim of beating the Tories.

They are as bad as each other.

Then I learn that Cable and Clegg didn't vote tonight against May - their votes would have meant a government majority of a measly 1. Wtf is going on?
