Knudsen dropped for Kenlock then.

Will please many. Let's hope Kenlock has a good game.

Sears and Jackson for pace.

Tough match for Kenlock's to return to the fray.
Plus Jackson has so little presence upfront and we may miss the aerial assistance of a taller cf in defensive situations

Just noticed, no Lankester at all. Has he picked up a knock?

Would prefer Bishop or Dozzell to Nolan.

I know I know, it's awful but it is what it is isn't it, is it?

Bishop maybe, Dozzell hasn't done anything since returning to the line up to be fair.

He hasn’t been given many chances.

Yet perhaps Lambert's thinking is that even the slightly better aerial presence of Harrison or Roberts being hardly sufficient to jolt Boro's strong defence, then maybe extra speed just might?

He's hardly seized them when he's been given an opportunity though - he started against Swansea, QPR at home, Millwall and Sheffield United and didn't stand out in any of them. Nor has he done much to change the game when brought on as a sub.

Admittedly barely anyone has but...

And when he has he's been poor.

Don't get this hype with him. Completely unjust

Something had to give eventually with our fullbacks, let's hope Kenlock can put a decent shift in.

I think if Nolan was dropped after QPR his confidence would have been shot for good, so I can see why he has kept his place here. Team does seem rather physically weak though, I mean it has been all season but even more so here.

He started last week and didn't touch the ball in the first half an hour.

I know that was then, but it could be again..

Do we have any players in the squad who have some physicality about them? Skuse at a pinch maybe but otherwise I can't think of anyone who isn't bossed around by their opposite number.

No not really, other than possibly Harrison/Roberts. That's all down to Hurst, was the very first thing I noticed v Blackburn at home, we lost pretty much every duel and were getting bullied quite easily, and that has played out the rest of the season.
