The way for the Conservatives to push her out is to down tools - basically follow Johnny Mercer's example and state they won't follow the whip on any legislation until she steps down as Prime Minister. They went too early in December though; all they needed to do was show some patience. She would have easily lost that vote now. | |

A fair chunk of the party has been doing that for months. Doesn't seem to have had any consequences, either for them or for May's tenure. They might be better off recommending people vote LibDem. That seems to have a remarkably rapid effect. | |
