I tried to throw in a few random results, as that will inevitably happen. However, I think like many on here I have suffered from basing my predictions too heavily on our most recent match. Anyway this is what I got.

I had us on 78 points in 6th, same points as Posh and Cov top on 82. We might be outsiders but many of our rivals play each other. Get to 80 points and you never know. |  |

Very difficult to predict where the random results will happen so I have simply put in win or draw based on roughly where teams are in the league. That gives me:
Coventry 85 +28
Rotherham 84 +32
Portsmouth 81 +23
Ipswich 80 +28
Wycombe 79 +12
Peterborough 78 +35
We need to do at least 4 points (and 5 goals) better and/or hope at least 2 of those who "should" finish ahead of us do at least that much worse. Of course the "random" results will be key too. As the season comes to a close there are always plenty of them, particularly as teams get close to getting over the line. |  |

Doesn't look too far out to me, although I think Coventry will win the league, with Rotherham in 2nd. I fully expect us to finish in the playoffs, it's a bit of a coin toss thereafter.
EDIT: Just seen your Peterborough. Can't see them dropping to that extent.
Top: Coventry
2nd: Rotherham
Playoffs: Ipswich, Sunderland, Peterborough, Portsmouth.
I think it'll be Wycombe that misses out of the current top 7.

We could beat any of them in a 2 leg playoff. Admittedly, we could lose to any of them too, but we shouldn’t fear them. I’ve got a sneaky suspicion we’re going to click at the right time. I think Saturday might have been a bit of a catalyst for that. If we go into the playoffs in form they won’t want to play us. | |

I have always said the play-offs are a lottery. However, our inability to beat any of the top 8 sides so far has me far more nervous about them than ever before. We would need to show guts to win them that are very well hidden at the moment if we have them. | |
