I always used to say 'we are on our way to being a team like Coventry' when expressing the concern that the club was going down the toilet.

Now I'd love it if we were on our way to being a team like Coventry.

Pronouns: He/Him/His. "Imagine being a heterosexual white male in Britain at this moment. How bad is that. Everything you say is racist, everything you say is homophobic. The Woke community have really f****d this country."
Poll: Selectamod

Interview on R5l here this a.m with a Wolves fan - "we didn't go for the priciest players, we went for the ones we knew would suit us, the owners backed us, we stuck with playing the same style & formation that was good for us". Obv they have loads & loads more £££££ than us, but basically, it ain't rocket science is it.

Poll: Why can't/don't we protest like the French do? 🤔

They did have;

A good manager.

Beyond rich owners.

Access to players through the world's No1 agent.

Most of all, they had a strategy and infrastructure.

Poll: Would Lambert have acheived better results than Cook if given the same resources

Wolves aren't the best example really. At a Premier level they've punched above their weight but the promotion and the momentum that came with it were on the back of a budget unheard of in a non-parachute payment club.

Now you can say Bradford.

In a few seasons we'll probably have Salford financially outmuscling us as we battle to sign Ryman League wonder kid Juangol Paryeer.

Truly impaired.

Even if you leave the dosh out of it tho, the principles are the same - "we didn't go for the priciest players, we went for the ones we knew would suit us, the owners backed us, we stuck with playing the same style & formation that was good for us".

Ie the basics - which we've just seemed unable to do lately.
