Nonsense. I love the club but expecting professional footballers to view it the same way we do is setting yourself up for endless disappointment. Downes could set himself up for life with a move to Palace. He would almost certainly be loaned to a Championship club to develop. For a player it's a no brainer if he bid the required amount. | |
