I have changed my tactics with the pigeons on my roof. I have started throwing rubber balls at them, the sort that you throw for dogs. It is much more effective than shooting chickpeas at them.
Trouble is I have lost both my balls this morning. Stuck on the roof.

I think your only option is a bird of prey, I've seen them up in the City (pre Covid) scaring the pigeons off. You'll obviously need to do some training on how to handle a bird and buy one, I think they use a Harris's hawk but I'm sure any falcon will work. |  | | |

It's OK, I have found that a medium sized quince does a similar job.
