Was Huws any better yesterday on 11:37 - Nov 22 with 1565 views | Romeo4 | I thought he looked ok. Played one brilliant first time ball which could’ve led to a dangerous attack if Sears wasn’t the one on the end of it. Lambert clearly has no faith in him though as he’s not played him when we’ve needed CM cover in recent weeks and even overlooked him yesterday when Nolan went off. His performances have been poor to be fair. Would love to know if there’s a player still in there. Could be a real handful. We have to give him a sustained run in the team to find out and not sure whether we can afford that luxury.
Was Huws any better yesterday on 11:47 - Nov 22 with 1527 views | Darth_Koont | No worse than anyone else and didn’t do anything wrong. But still waiting for him to impose himself on a game like Bishop, Dozzell, Downes and even Nolan can do at times. Problem for me was up front where the ball just never seemed to stick. That starting front 3 of Sears, Jackson and Judge got very little going and gave the midfield little to get up and support. If that’s going to be the case then we need Edwards or Jackson to have the pace to run onto balls down the channels and Norwood/Hawkins to have the strength to fight through the middle.

Pace is key. Every time we look dangerous is when we inject pace into our play, whether that be attacking with the ball or pressing the opposition higher up the pitch. Edwards being out is a blow. Ideally he’d operate down the left every game. In his absence (and assuming we’re persevering with 433) I’d start with Jackson in one of the wider positions and Lankester on the other side. If fit, Norwood would be my first name on the team sheet down the centre.

Judge and Sears were horrific yesterday. Chambers had his worst game of the season. Ward wasn’t very good. We were generally mediocre which begs the question, how bad must Shrewsbury be? And despite that, they created the better chances and should have had another penalty.

Chambers was odd, quiet, bad control, poor passing. Ward - if anyone was watching will be targeted with balls behind him. I also got frustrated with Bishop dropping back behind Chambers to pick the ball up - yes they gave us space there but he was getting hacked down miles from their goal, his runs should be into the box.

He looks better than he did last season, but is still a long way from the player he once was. I predict that his contract at ITFC will not be renewed and that he will be reasonably successful at his next club.
| ITFC shall rise like a phoenix from the ashes of its long decline! |

Good point about pace. Without Bishop and Edwards that’ll be even more of a problem. We are too pedestrian to fully impose ourselves on teams or sustain any kind of pressure.

Think the only thing I can agree with there, was that he look way off match-pace. Thought he looked very anonymous.

They didn't get their other penalty and neither did we so all square. Apart from ours looked it and theirs didn't.

That was a great ball only for Sears to turn a great position into a terrible one
