Burton are bottom of the league. A win tonight changes nothing, a defeat confirms everyone's fears.

It's not us that need convincing. It's one man, and he won't be convinced by a loss tonight. Frustratingly he will almost certainly see a win as progress as he doesn't want to have to sack Lambert. He's looking for confirmation of his delusions so it might be better long term if we didn't get the win tonight.

Whilst I agree with what is your underlying message that Lambert should leave immediately.

The players have really not performed in recent games, if they turn in a real performance and a win I do think it means something.

Also there are genuinely no easy games on this league especially smaller getting the big occasion at Portman Road.

Also in case you missed it Burton are unbeaten in 4 drawing against good teams in Sunderland, Crewe and MK Dons and beating in form Charlton.

We’ll know how tonight’s going to go fairly early, boys don’t fight from the get go, 2000 fans will turn, then it’s a vicious spiral to a loss!!

Tonight's the night when the tables turn!! When we scrape a 0-0, or, heavens above a 1-0 win! With Burton having the same number of shots as us. But us having more possession. But not getting in their box much. And starting 4-3-3. And lacking physicality, but sometimes keeping the ball well. And looking shaky at the back. And toothless up front. And someone going off injured.

PL, if any of your goons read this and much of it turns out to be correct, please don't ban Phil from prezzers for longer because I posted it. It was just an educated guess, honest. Just either ban me from PR, or get me in on your goon squad, sorry backroom staff, to do some coaching.

i dont think we are good enough to fluke a win at the moment,
injuries are killing us but any decent coach could set up a team to at least test burton

We fluked a win against Plymouth. I doubt we'd have won against 11 men.

...."there are genuinely no easy games in this league" gets a down vote.

The time for platitudes and excuses is gone.

Lambert out.

'No easy games in the third division'.

What a time to be alive.

I think Saturday at Peterborough could be the real crux - if we lose by 3 or 4, which is quite possible, the noise from everywhere, including the local press will go up several notches.
Of course, if we lose tonight it would happen earlier, but we should get by Burton, if only just.
