but I never knew these facts which to me are a bit mind-blowing. The older lady was born in 1816. When this was filmed a man born in 1781 was still alive and a child who was already born got to see 2001. 220 years connected.

Those sort of facts blow my mind.
The one that I find staggering is that the Wright brothers lives overlapped with Neil Armstrong’s.
It shows the insane accelaration of technology, I don't think I'm THAT old, but iremember being blown away bt space invaders and having 3 TV channels to watch. Neither of those things are huge technological advancements I realise, but a lazy comparison for how I spent my life thenand now.
