Dozzell may have an eye for the killer pass ..sometimes. But the other parts of his game are questionable IMO.
He loses the ball very cheaply, and often.
He is a liability for soft, needless fouls and cost the team possession time and again.
He is poor defensively , when we are not in possession.
Some would say a luxury player at this level. |  |

I thought he was really quiet today. Not in the game anywhere near enough. Lovely pass to set up the chance, but then showed why he's not first choice number 10 when the loose ball fell to him and he dithered and ran it out. As the holding midfielder tonight he was largely ineffectual. |  |

But that’s just typically Dozzell isn’t it ...one decent pass maybe , bu5 by and large missing from the game. He rarely dominates the ball or stamps his author a game. In fact the only stamp he tends to do, gets him a booking . .....maybe that’s it! Maybe he’s misunderstand the phrase “ stamp,your author the game son”! | |
