So...he's finally signed a right back. 19:47 - Feb 1 with 607 viewshomer_123

6 months too late.

A striker that....let's face it.....is too young to play the lone striker roll.

Fecking embarrassing, desperate, nieve signings from our manager and owner.

Comes across very much as a desperate , last chance saloon window for Lambert ( and the Club), doesn’t it!

Totally agree, along with displaying an absolute lack of developing our own youth players.

The only hope I am clinging to is that we bring in a new manager on loan too.

Parrott seems a great signing but like you say, we might as well not have bothered if he's going to be the lone striker. If we now play two up front it could be very exciting.

Truly impaired.

The striker who is too young may well be a null argument. A PL academy prospect (although signed from Ireland) in L1 isn't exactly out of place. As for him playing by himself, maybe the new RB will allow more profit in a 442. He is 6ft 1 so will provide some much needed height and possibly a good #10 choice - I would be very surprised to see him operate as a lone striker. If he is a lone striker the added pace on the flank may afford Edwards to operate as an inside forward.

Of course, this is tactical refinement - something Lambert is terrible at.

Although....that clearly makes him look ridiculous with his rigid sticking to the lone striker formation to this point!

Be very interesting to see how this plays out.

Parrott is quality but the size of our squad is awful.

Need a massive clearout.

It’s just desperate signings.

In isolation they are good footballers. But it’s a final roll of the dice in my opinion from Lambert.

Poll: Would love to know the opinions on here now of Lambert genuinely?
