Few things gone wrong. The injuries at centre back have left them playing midfielders in CB. (Henderson and Fabinho)
That has left them with less cover in midfield.
Throw in the number of games played in shorter time than normal - and their high intensity pressing game - they basically look knackered.
Plus last season they were flying on confidence which isn't the case now, possibly the opposite given some of their results.
Reckon they would grab 4th place if it were offered now. Hell of a difference from last season. |  |
