There have been three or four, in addition to the Gamechanger lot, I think, things have emerged from conversations I've had over the last few days.
I've learned of one group who were interested in September but turned their attention elsewhere, another I heard about at around that time but I'm pretty certain are different.
I was told about another one around a month ago who a few weeks earlier were quoted a price which they felt was too high, and now the lot that ME has revealed approached him a fortnight ago.
Could have been more, of course. I'm told there are plenty of groups looking at clubs at the moment and we're attractive given the size of the ground, the history and profile and the position in the league making the club cheap by comparison with similar sides in the Championship. | | | |
