I imagine it will still be Chambers, whether he is starting or not he isn't going to be so out of the pitcure on Day 1 that we need to have a 'Club captain' and 'Team captain'.
I imagine a new captain will be appointed in the close season that follows when Chambers likely retires having played less and less next season |  |

Some people don't like him and he isn't a silky right back like KVY but Chambers fitness levels are phenomenal for his age. Him and Skuse really have looked after themselves.
All comes down to how Cook wants us to play. If he wants to play out from the back and play a high line then Chambers and Wilson will struggle for a game next season. If he is happy to sit deep and clear what is there then Woolfy might struggle instead and those 2 will get a game
Really can't see Chambers doing another season up and down at RB but we probably didn't expect hencould this season either and overall he has been excellent |  |

I think Chambers involvement next season really depends what division we are in.
League 1 and he still plays regularly IMO, Championship and I feel he may just be squad filler.
And I agree, he is in pretty good shape. |  |

I cant see chambers being a cook fullback. Yes he is quite fit for his age. But his legs cant do a proper fullback role where the manager wants you doing a lot of running. |  |
