I would really hope we get some sort of reaction from the players after the woeful display on Tuesday. We could all say the games come thick and fast, but it’s the same for everyone and we’ve probably got the biggest squad in L1. What concerns me is that we’ve had two woeful performances in the last 4 games under PC and what’s been in between hasn’t been that convincing either apart from the first 20 minutes against Plymouth. |  |

You’ve got the answers about our squad over the last 4 games, different manager same issues. It’s a top 10 L1 squad, but certainly not one of the best in the league, which some keep mentioning. Don’t be surprised if Portsmouth are a lot better today than they have been over the last few weeks under Kenny Jackett. | |

If hopes are going to be dashed it won’t happen until we play our game in hand final week of the season , or last game of the season at home to Fleetwood.
Cook has put himself under pressure by saying the squad is good enough, he just has to get them to perform both individually and as a team. A difficult task. |  |

Fear the same, too many players with no fight in them, nothing to do with abilty just heart and desire.

He's barely had longer. And in terms of getting his ideas across he's had very little time with the schedule of play game-rest-travel-play game. Our form since Cook came in, which is the only form we should really use as the last days of Lambert isn't all that relevant for a number of reasons, isn't great. As others have said, even the win was fairly laboured.
So not really sure what point you're making. In real terms, Cook doesn't have much advantage over the Cowleys in terms of longevity in the job or personnel available. | |
