Phil! You and the Star lot have been very quiet since the game... Should we be concerned?

Where was Jackson yesterday? on 11:57 - Apr 11 with 2095 views | ArnieM | Thing is Jackson got all his faults ( what player in this squad doesn’t have them), I think his pace would have been a serious problem for Dons. They were so slow snd ponderous in defence , it was crying out for Jackson. As for Sears , just what the hell had happened to him?

Not sure, we were all a little surprised when PC didn't appear, having been told he would when the pre-match presser was cancelled, and aside from what Matt G said no reason was given. Might be that PC has concerns about the takeover, might be that he didn't want to do the pre-match for other reasons. He has a history of not doing post-match, I think Leam Richardson did it every time he was here with Portsmouth and Wigan. Maybe he just wanted to speak in a more measured atmosphere pre-match, he has said he sometimes says more than he intends to after matches. Will be interesting to see what's said tomorrow, assuming he does the presser. He was still at the ground when I left at about 6.15 so may well have had a meeting.

If their 24 goals scored between them last season hadn’t counted, we’d have been relegated to League 2 last campaign.

Where was Jackson yesterday? on 12:26 - Apr 11 with 1871 views | pointofblue | Going off Gill swiftly deflected the question onto Nydam I think there’s either an issue, such as an injury, which they do not wish to disclose yet or he was dropped for footballing reasons. Saying that, when Freddie Sears is being preferred to you...

Had we have had 2 strikers that scored 36 between them, we may have been promoted to the championship. Struggling to see your point here.

Just because we remove one rubbish player from the team it doesn’t mean that the replacements will be any less rubbish. We are rubbish. Doesn’t make Jackson anything more than a league 2 footballer.

Eh? They were our players, we didn’t have any other strikers. They scored 24 goals between them. If those 24 goals hadn’t been scored, we may have been relegated. What’s difficult to understand? We didnt have/couldn’t afford 2 different strikers that were likely to score 36 goals. Struggling to understand YOUR point here.

Mutually terminate their contracts? Jackson was the subject of a large (for us) bid last summer. Norwood scores plenty when he gets service, as the stats prove. Your idea would not only release them from us but also hand them to a league one rival. Norwood would be snapped up within days on a pre contract. We've been appalling and the whole club/team needs a summer rebuild badly. There's no reason at all to get rid of them though just for the sake of it. Both could look completely different players in a renewed team with some service. Defence is solid. Holy is decent enough for league one. It's no coincidence we're looking at players who create chances as number pone priority.

You do understand what ‘mutual’ means? Why would they agree to terminate their contracts?
