The lead singer of the band I'm in used to work with the lad's Mum and he came along to watch us rehearse last week. He's a total guitar geek - he correctly identified my custom-made (ooh look at me!) bass as a short-scale mongrel hybrid of a Fender Precision and Jazz and we spent a few mins discussing the merits of both and why no-one had produced such a bass previously - was incredible to see him walking and talking so soon after such a terrible thing and the long-term prognosis is looking good at the moment thank goodness

Great to hear, my Dad is good friends with the Father so has spoken a fair bit about it. Just horrible situation, and totally unnecessary - plus guy now pleading not guilty which is sttange
