Try The Chandos just off Piccadilly :) Mother always goes to Covent Garden and Oxford Street when down here, then remarks "Oooh, that London's awfully busy and too expensive for me!" Erm, yeah, it will be if you go round those parts! | |

....but The Coal Hole on the Strand is better, but my best recommendation would be The Ship & Shovell on Craven Passage. (round the back of CC station) The only pub in London that is split into two parts. Quirky, innit. | |
