Can someone who knows explain what DRS is? 14:26 - Jul 4 with 953 views | bluelagos | Understand there are zones, and if the car behind is within a certain distance / time of the car ahead he can activate DRS. But what is it he is activating? Cheers.

Lagos is actually wondering if this can be adapted for a bike.

The image of a drag resistance system , otherwise known as flaps, on Lagos’s rear end is just not an image that I want in my head.

Strictly speaking, the reduction in downforce (most of which isn't needed on the straight, anyway) is just a by-product. Because one of the main elements of the rear wing is no longer trying to work the air so hard, it causes less aerodynamic drag.
