Yeah two days - my 5 days of test cricket so far have seen 1 rained off (NZ Lords), 1 last about ten overs (NZ Edgbaston), 2 cancelled due to Covid (India OT) and thankfully one cracking day at the Oval last week.

Just working out what to do with the weekend now, New Order playing Heaton Park tonight so that may be an option.

Actually he's one of those I expect probably was desperate to play, no argument with your assesment of him but wasn't he in line to become the first Indian captain to win a five test series in England or did I mishear that?

If that was the case that I would imagine that would have massive appeal to his vanity.

Reality is that money talks and the IPL generates a huge sum of money.

I think if they have concerns then they were right to pull out. I don’t know if they have had a vaccine yet so I can understand it.

Hasn't actually been forfeited yet. That will be up to discussions with the Match Referee - Chris Broad - and wil not be announced for a while.

Original statement did say it, was then amended ( SURPRISE ) to read discussions ongoing! Sounds like they will re-arrange it once we have a month of Sunday’s, a blue moon or when Norwich win a trophy!
