Don't think anyone could say we didn't deserve to win today. Even going into stoppage time level I felt we were still likely to get a chance and/or score. How many break aways did we have second half? We made a lot of bad decisions when it came to these - Morsy and Celina among the culprits. Had we not won I don't think any blame could have been placed at the manager's door.

If ever there was a match to preach the art of patience this was it. The only downside to today was portions of the ground getting tetchy when we started to play passes across the back four. It's happened all season, but people should have learned by now it's the way Cook wants the team to play and quite often it pays off.

Today felt very much like the boxing day game on our return to the premier league. Chelsea went 2 up, but it never felt like we were losing that match - we ended up drawing 2-2

I challenge the whole concept of 'deserving to win.

Football isn't like ice dancing where you get marked for technique, it is has a simple objective of getting the ball in the back of the net more than the opposition does.

Only if you do that do you deserve to win.

The exception to this is if events outside of the control of either team change the result, Alan Young disallowing Norwood's goal against Wycombe the other year for instance.

Just finished watching the game and we do certainly look like we've got the ugly side of our game going in the right direction which is great to see.

I know we have yet to face those at the top end. But in this league you've got to be able to rough it up, something we've seen we have struggled with. But overall yesterday it was a solid performance against a side who has caused problems for a host of sides this season. I'm really surprised Fleetwood are where they are.

Never be afraid to share your thoughts.

Read yesterday that Celina hadn't scored in 85 games? You could see why on a couple of occasions yesterday, where he got to the edge of the box and tried to play through ball that weren't on.

If I were Cook I'd have him looking at the video saying, "you're the best long range shooter at the club, if you get in range ping the bloody thing".

Fair point. I guess I mean the manager deserved a win, because he set the team up well and they created lots of openings, but failed, quite poorly at times, to make anything of them.

But you're right, if the players don't get it in the net, they don't deserve it.
