I know he started the season off poorly but my god he's been shocking this game too. Just a blip? Or begging to be let go in Jan...

Harry Kane on 19:18 - Oct 30 with 982 views | WicklowBlue | Spurs should have sold him and strengthened the squad. Not sure what position he is playing but constantly seems to get the ball wide of the box. Can see another manager change incoming for Spurs they are really really poor, luckily for Ole.

He has a strange position. It's not a 9 or a 10. It's a bit of a mixture it seems. Just floats around. You see him in the corner. In the box. On the halfway line. But that doesn't seem to be positive to any spurs attacks.

It's what Rooney used to do for England later in his career and it became immensely frustrating. Seems to come from not trusting the support players to give him the service he needs.

Levy would've given him his move, but no-one offered him enough money. He said he could go, but didn't say he could go for any price

He just kept getting in the way. Then when he got the ball into dangerous areas he fluffed it absolute shadow of previous self

He priced him out of the market. Bad move for all parties.

Agreed, surely you want Kane leading the line annoying the CBs and feeding off others? Dare I say he should play more a Lineker fox in the box role and he'll get you goals. Son is a class player but the whole team seems disjointed tactically and they are paying the price. Plus subbing Moura was nuts as he was actually helping them drive forward...seems like the Spurs fans felt the same. [Post edited 30 Oct 2021 20:02]

Well the fact he can head a ball. Volley a ball. Slot a ball home etc should surely mean he as you say sticks to the box. I've no idea why you'd want him doing what he's doing. It's almost like missing a player when you've actually got the ball.

That might turn out to be a terrible decision.
Harry Kane on 20:10 - Oct 30 with 788 views | J2BLUE | Playing in a poor team with a poor manager. I completed missed Santo going there and couldn't believe it when I saw it. Just like Mourinho, it never felt right. I feel for Kane. He should be a Man City player. To those saying he could go but no one met the price, do you really think City were quibbling over £25m? They want the CL. If the deal was there to be done they would have done it. FFP is virtually meaningless anyway.

He signed a 6 year contract in 2018 for a reported £200,000 a week. That equates to over £60m for the length of his contract. Sorry mate but I can hardly feel sorry for him especially in these present times.

I don't feel sorry for the huge wages players are paid. But equally Kane looks lost in the current setup, maybe trying too hard to make something happen in a poor Spurs team? Agree with the Rooney likeness, where he was all over the park trying to make something happen rather than the position they are best at. Taking corners etc really????

Didn't Hodgson also have Kane taking corners in our nightmare Euros when we were screwed by Iceland?

Yeah I get that and realise now that J2 was talking more of a footballing sense than money. I still don't feel he is giving 100% though.

He isn't, but it could be for a number of reasons. Last season was his peak, strikers tend to peak around 27. It may be that he's trying to adapt his game to go a bit slower and work more assisted than going gungho as a striker. Prolonging his career a bit.

I'm surprised nobody has tried to sign Son Heung-min . All the talk is about Kane but Son is a brilliant player who may be looking for one last club too.

Son has always been a favourite of mine. I do think the gaffer at Spurs is in over his head though - Kane needs the pace of players around him - and Son was exactly that last season.
