Rotherham 20:00 - Nov 21 with 1452 viewsLeoMuff

Didn’t realise they are undefeated intheir last 14, and in the last 10 league games only conceded 5.

They are on fire at the moment

The only Muff in Town.

Time for them to lose then, runs like that seldom last much longer than 14 games

Only lost one away game all season and only conceded 3 goals away from home. We are going to have to play extremely well to avoid defeat in this match, let alone win it.

A good test then for Town's improved form.
Fail to win & Town will have won only one out of this run of 5 league games against sides above us & that would indicate that even the improved Town aren't there as genuine play off contenders.

I like the attitude. Who knows, maybe we could have a stormer.

Flip side, deservedly win tomorrow and we're showing we're one of the best sides in the division (on our day at least).

Important match for the players. It is these key games where the manager learns who he can rely on, and I am confident our new hierarchy will be swift in replacing individuals who don't perform in these type of games.

... energy, passing, pace and physicality

a lot of chances created

right wing strength

completely on fire

Some TWTD madness for you - "we have to be beating Rotherham with our squad".. so ridiculous

4 points from the next two games would be positive, 6 brilliant

We're about to play 3 of the top form teams in the division..

Rotherham 6 4 2 0 16 4 +12 14
Charlton 6 4 1 1 11 4 +7 13
Wigan 6 4 0 2 13 6 +7 12

Ipswich Town 6 3 1 2 11 6 +5 10

one ray of light is that the PPG of the opposition of those teams over the last 6 games has been much lower than ours

It's these type of stats that make you believe Rotherham are going to finish in one of those top 2 places come May. Nevertheless, that doesn't mean that they can't be beaten, it's up to our players to stand up to the physical challenge, defend well and take our chances which we haven't be doing lately in the league. If we can win on Tuesday night and then again on Sunday, things will look a whole lot better.

Poll: Where are we going to finish?

Time for a little realism

We are 10th in the table

We are 9th in the six match form table

We are 9th in the six match home form table

We are 9th in the six match away form table

We aren’t going anywhere unless we see a significant improvement in results.

Yep but did anyone see them against Cambridge. They looked okay but very much a league 1 side. Cambridge were unlucky not to get something from the game. They are still very beatable.

The time has now come for the players to step it up to the next level.

Oxford 0-0 and Sunderland 0-2 is not going to get us out of this league.

We need a 10-15% uplift in performance level, everything needs to be faster, sharper, stronger, more clinical.

Let's not get too carried away, in either direction.

Sunderland, first half at least, was a pretty decent performance against one of the better teams in the league. We got done with a smash and grab. Stuff happens.

We've got every chance against Rotherham.

Remember, the rule is we only break the opposition's runs if either they haven't scored in or have lost a number of games......
